Martin Luther King gave the ‘I have a Dream’ Speech – not the ‘I have a Plan’ Speech!

On Thursday I posted the below video at werbeblogger, where I am a member of the editorial team. I wrote about and recommended it from the view of a brand or corporation.

Here I would like to empasize the ‘manager vs leader’ part of it.

While watching the video you will see that managers (like the average brand or corporation) just talk about the ‘What’ and ‘How’ of a product, task or venture and that leaders (like Apple, Martin Luther King, the Wright Brothers) talk about the ‘Why’ part of a challenge or venture.

“Those who lead inspire us. Whether they are individuals or
organizatons. We follow those who lead not because we have to, but
because we want to.”
“We follow great leaders not for them, but for ourselves.”

Enjoy the video!
